Derby Ducks was founded in January 2008. We are an informal group of women who enjoy playing hockey without the commitment of league matches. A lot of us haven't played since our school days so together we are gradually improving our game and knowledge of hockey. The main focus is fun and enjoyment in a team based environment.

Our club is open to all women over the age of 18 years and currently we have members of all ages. We meet every Sunday evening come rain or shine at Moorways Sports Complex, Allenton, Derby from 7- 8 pm. The hour normally consists of a warm up with some skill work and then we have an informal game amongst ourselves. It will only cost you £3 which is charged to cover the costs of hiring the pitch.

The Ducks motto is 'more the merrier' so ladies, if you fancy a light hearted game of hockey please feel free to join us. We promise to make you feel more than welcome.
